My journey

From 9-to-5 to building my dream life.

  1. Robbie in a London pub, overweight
    01

    London, 25 years old

Four years in a 9-to-5 I hated. Overweight, hungover every weekend. Ambitious, but no direction and no momentum.

  2. Robbie's mirror selfie, lean, at his parents' house
    02

    Burnt the boats

Quit the job, left London, moved back in with my parents. Remote job, £10k saved, 18kg down in six months. Got my swagger back.

  3. Robbie on a hike in Indonesia next to a danger sign
    03

    One-way ticket to Bali

Chasing the lifestyle I'd always wanted. Three attempts. Ran out of money twice, moved home twice, kept going back.

  4. Robbie with his run club in Bali
    04

    Found my feet in Bali

Finally made it work. Best shape of my life, found my people, qualified as an online coach, left the 9-to-5. 100+ men coached in 2026.

  5. Robbie standing in the gym, front pose
    05

    Present day, 28 years old

The current chapter. Three years on from London. Not the finished product, but still building, still moving, still chasing it.

Trust me when I say this, the physique change comes first and everything else follows. Getting in shape was what kickstarted everything that's happened in the last three years for me. Truly everything. It gave me a routine, which gave me structure, which built me habits, which led to results, which built my confidence, which led to a vision, and most importantly, led to action. The physique and the habits were just where it started.

Who my coaching is for

Does this sound familiar?

You know you want more from life.

You've been saying it for years. You're going to get in shape. Leave the job. Start the business. Try a new city. Move to a new country. The ideas are there. You're ambitious as hell.

But you blink, and next thing you know, another year's gone. Same job, same weekends, same habits, same physique, same ideas, but no action. Nothing's happened. Nothing's changed.

You're not short on ambition. You're short on confidence. And trust me, you might think you're confident, but there are levels to confidence. There's a difference between being confident enough to speak to a girl at a bar and being confident enough to change your life.

I know, because I was you. From 20 to 25 I said all of it and did none of it. Then finally, after years, I got in shape, and everything else changed. I truly became confident and decided to grab life by the balls.

That's who my coaching is for. The guy who isn't happy with his physique. Who isn't happy with his environment. Who isn't happy with where he's at in life. He wants more, and he knows getting in shape is the first domino.

My training philosophy

I train to stay ready.

Right now on social media, it feels like everybody's chasing something. A sub-3 marathon, a sub-60 Hyrox, 10% body fat, an Ironman. That's great if it's your thing, but training doesn't always need a finish line. Sometimes it's just about feeling fit, looking good, and doing it for the love of the game.

I ain't a bodybuilder. I ain't a runner. I ain't a Hyrox athlete. My training's never fitted neatly into one box. I like to think I sit bang in the middle, and I train because I genuinely love it.

I don't want to choose between aesthetics and performance. I want both. So I lift heavy, I run, and I stay lean enough year round that if I want to get shredded for a holiday, it's only six weeks of cutting, not six months.

When a mate says do you fancy a gym session tomorrow? I'm in. If a mate says do you fancy a 15K and a coffee on Saturday morning? I'm there. If a mate says do you fancy doing Hyrox Amsterdam with me in two months? I won't win it, but I'll turn up, compete and enjoy every minute.

That's what I build in the guys I coach. A man who's stronger, fitter and more capable, with a physique he's proud of. So when an opportunity shows up, you're ready.

How it works

Built around your life

01

It's all about you

Your goals, physique, training, diet, job, routine and weekends. Office days, nights out, the lot. Everything gets built around your actual life.

02

A programme built for you

Completely custom, never a template. First thing I'll ask for is a video of your gym, so I can build every session around the kit you actually have. Every lift is tracked in the app. Every rep, every weight, and every week there's a target to beat.

Want to build an engine too? We add running, set around where you're at. New to it? We build from scratch. Already running? We build on what you've got.

03

Nutrition that fits real life

Your macros, calculated for you and adjusted as you progress. A meal plan to draw inspiration from, meal-prep options for busy days, and how to handle dinners out and nights out without undoing your week.

I set the numbers. You track them yourself in the app, because that's how you actually learn. My job isn't to do it for you. It's to teach you, so these habits stay with you long after we're done.

04

I'm in your corner

Calls every two weeks, or weekly if you want them, covering fitness, progress and everything in between. Check-ins in the weeks between. And we're on WhatsApp, so message me any time. I'll be checking in through the week too, keeping us on track.

It's not just macros and sets. Got a business idea you want to talk through? Thinking about the move abroad? Want to chat about the date you went on? Bring it. I'm no expert in everything, but one thing I've learned is how much it helps just to talk things through with someone. Getting your ideas out there and bouncing them off each other. Sometimes that's exactly what you need.

The standard

Is my coaching for you?

For your physique and your life to change, your standards have to change first. These are the standards I hold my clients to.

This is for you if…

  • You see getting in shape as the first step to changing your life
  • You're in it for the long game. A lifestyle change, not a quick shred you lose a month later
  • You'll commit to at least 12 weeks. That's how long it takes to build habits that stick and results that stay
  • You'll track your food every day. Busy or not, no excuses
  • You'll be open and honest with me. The wins, the slip-ups, the exercises you don't enjoy. No judgement, we're a team. The more I know, the better I can coach you
  • You're ready. No more start-again-on-Monday mentality. You're ready to get stuck into this.

This isn't for you if…

  • You're not willing to make some sacrifices. You can't build a new life living exactly the same way as the old one
  • You can't pick your battles. Drinks with the Mrs on Saturday? Then Thursday's work drinks take a back seat. You have to learn to prioritise
  • You've got an excuse for everything. Too busy, too tired, forgot
  • You'll throw in the towel when it gets tough. Getting in shape isn't easy. If it was, everyone would do it
  • You need convincing. You already know what you need to do. You just need direction

My vision for the future

More than coaching.

When I moved to Bali, it took me a while to find my people. When I did, it changed everything. I was surrounded by a group of lads who socialised over 15K runs on a Saturday instead of pints. We'd grab lunch, eat well, have a laugh and bounce ideas off each other. Everyone was training, everyone was building something, everyone was chasing a better life.

Being around them is the reason I got my coaching qualifications and left the 9-to-5. I was inspired.

My vision is a team of guys on the same path. Two of you in Manchester? Get a session in together. Near me? Let's get a gym session in. Someone fancies a Hyrox? Someone else in the team is up for it.

Build the physique. Then build the life. And meet some good people along the way.

FAQ

Straight answers

Can you guarantee results?

No, and anyone who does is lying. I'll give you the plan, the structure and the support, but you're the one who executes it. Show up, follow the programme and track your nutrition, and you'll get results. You get out what you put in.

I'm not expecting you to be a robot. I live by the 90/10 rule: 90% of the time I'm locked in, training, tracking, grafting. The other 10% is pizza night with the Mrs or a few beers and a burger with the boys. Just keep the 10% at 10%, and don't let one meal off plan turn into a weekend off track.

How quickly will I see results, and what can I expect?

Follow the plan and you'll feel the difference within two weeks. No abs yet, but structure, habits that are getting easier, and a bit of swagger in your walk. Cut back on the booze and you'll notice it fast: better sleep, more energy, no brain fog, hangover-free weekend mornings.

Physically, changes usually start showing around weeks four to six. By week twelve, if you've done the work, the difference is clear.

And don't sleep on the mental side. Get in shape and you think clearer, back yourself more and start acting on the stuff you've been putting off. The physique is part of the package. It's the man you become along the way that counts.

How many days a week will I need to train?

In the gym, 3 minimum, ideally 4. What matters is how hard you train when you're there, not how often. Every session is tracked in the app so you can see what you did last week, and the goal is to beat it: one more rep or a bit more weight.

Want to build the engine too? We start with one run a week, set around your current fitness, and add more as you're ready.

Will I lose size or strength if I'm cutting or running?

When you're getting leaner, your strength might dip a little. That's normal. We keep it to a minimum with intense sessions, high protein, and carbs timed around training.

Marathon-level mileage can eat into muscle, but that's not what we're doing. You're training to be fit, not to be a runner. A couple of runs a week, fuelled properly, won't cost you your gains.

Is this a running or Hyrox programme?

No. I'm not a running coach or a Hyrox coach. I build physiques with an engine attached, so when a mate says "Hyrox next month?" or "track session Thursday?", you're ready to turn up and give it a proper go.

Can I still drink?

Yes, within the 90/10 rule. What goes is the 12 pints every weekend. A planned night out fits in: bank some calories, hit your training and steps first, and get straight back into routine the next day. No hangover takeaway spiral.

What happens if I slip up or fall off track?

It happens to everyone, me included. One bad day or weekend doesn't ruin twelve weeks. What does is one bad week turning into two or three because you went quiet. So just tell me. We'll look at what happened, adjust, and get straight back to it. No judgement, ever.

What happens after the 12 weeks?

We review everything: your progress, how you feel, and what's next. Some guys go it alone with the habits they've built, some move into the next phase, and some stay on to learn how to keep their results. It's your call, with no pressure. If you keep going, it's month to month. And if you go it alone, you're still part of the team.
